What about those Scientologists, eh?

From the wacko-watch files: Rolling Stone magazine has a story that The Szasz Blog says unlocks "the complex code of America's most mysterious religion."

But here's a question: everyone but Tom Cruise knows how silly Scientologists' beliefs and practices are; but why are they any less silly than the beliefs and practices of the mainstream
religions?

All religious believers are delutional. They can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. But there are certain religions where majority of their followers are preaching extreme views which they themselves are nutters , such as Muslims.

Has anyone seen a Western country with mass demonstrations in their cities calling for : "Death To America" or "Death To Israel" ? No. You don't see that type of demonstration in Sydney, New York, Auckland nor Wellington, calling for a desctruction of another country. I have seen it many times on TV , but Where ? ONLY in Muslim countries. There are demonstrations in cities of Western countries, but they don't act like those nutters in Muslim countries that you often see on TV in which participants bang their heads with some heavy objects where they bleed during the march.

I think generally, religious is fine when fanatics don't try to push their views to others.
